Heaps of room for my girls
Bought this for my 4 isa browns and the size is just right, they have so much space to scratch around on the ground and the upper box is perfect for laying. Egg collection from the side door is a winner, no more crawling inside. Really chuffed with it.
Built it on a Saturday arvo
Assembly took about 90 mins on my own, instructions were clear and all the hardware was labelled. The fir wood feels solid and the green felt roof gives it a nice look in the backyard. The wife loves it more than I do honestly.
Survived the first big storm easy
Had a massive downpour two nights after setting it up and the inside stayed bone dry. The asphalt felt does the job and the mesh is properly tight, no gaps anywhere for a fox or python to get in. Hens were calm as.
Slide tray is a game changer
Coming from a cheap coop with no tray, this is a totaly different experience. Pull it out, hose it down, slide it back in. Takes 5 minutes max. The girls have been laying every morning since we moved them in.
Good size for a small backyard
We dont have a huge yard so I was a bit worried but it fits nicely along the fence and still gives the hens plenty of room. The ramp is sturdy and they figured it out within the first day. Really happy with the buy.
Worth every dollar
Was tossing up between a few coops in this price range and im glad i went with this one. Quality is well above what i expected, the latches feel proper secure and the timber has held up great in the sun. Would buy again.
